Another great board from them

This was my third board from Beercan Boards. I got a Brewser this time, mostly for commuting to work. Just like my last two, the quality is consistent. It's sturdy and the wheels they put on it roll really smoothly. Their decks hold up way better than wood in the rain. I'll probably grab one of their shortboards next spring.

Good board, fast shipping

I ordered a complete Hard Cider longboard. It shipped out in 2 days and got to me in California after another 4. The board rides well and feels solid. I like that it's made from recycled stuff. Everything was as described on the site.

Oat Soda deck is perfect

I grabbed an Oat Soda deck and it's awesome! I had some trucks and wheels already so just needed the deck. It's super light but feels really strong underfoot. I was a bit worried about the aluminum being too stiff but it has a nice flex to it. Packaging was good, kept it safe in transit. It took 5 days to reach Denver, which was faster than I expected. Definitely buying another one for my brother's birthday. This thing is so much fun to ride!

can you actually customize these boards? like with your own design or engraving?

G Gwen Doyle 2 months ago
Yeah, they offer custom engraving! You can get text or even a logo put on. Saw it when I was looking at their aluminum decks.

D David 2 months ago
I think it's mostly for the aluminum decks, not like full custom graphics on the whole board, but still cool for a personal touch.

thinking about getting the Oat Soda, but I'm a bigger guy, around 250lbs. Will it hold up or should I look at something else?

G Greg 1 month ago
I'm not exactly sure what the official limit is, but I've seen some reviews from heavier riders saying these boards are super sturdy. Aluminum is tough.

They're aluminum, so they're pretty robust. I weigh about 220 and my Hard Cider feels solid. Maybe check their FAQ, I think they mention weight limits somewhere.

any word on upcoming sales? thinking about getting a 12 Pack, but don't want to buy it if there's a big sale next week.

J James C. 2 months ago
They usually have sales around holidays, like Black Friday or Christmas. Might be one for Father's Day or Graduation soon too.

If you sign up for their newsletter, they usually send out emails about upcoming deals. That's how I caught their last big sale.

what's their return policy like? just in case the board isn't for me.

M Megan E. 2 months ago
Pretty standard, I think. As long as it's not used or damaged, you can return it within a certain timeframe. I remember reading it's like 30 days.

Yeah, returns were easy enough. Just make sure it's in new condition. Don't go shredding for a week then try to send it back haha.

how do these aluminum boards compare to a typical maple longboard from like Landyachtz or Sector 9? is it a totally different feel?

R Rosa 2 months ago
It's definitely different. Aluminum gives it a unique flex, and it's super durable. Less prone to warping or snapping like wood can be. I'd say smoother ride on rougher pavement.

Maple boards can have more pop for tricks, but for cruising and carving, the aluminum ones are awesome. They feel really stable. And no worries about water damage!

is there like a military discount or something? I'm active duty.

N Nick 1 month ago
Yep, they totally offer a military discount. You just gotta verify it, usually through one of those online services at checkout.

M Mark 1 month ago
Yeah, they do. My buddy used his when he bought his board last year. Just look for it when you're checking out.

hey thinking about getting one of these boards, are they legit made from recycled stuff? or is that just marketing fluff?

A Alex Kaur 2 months ago
Nah, it's legit. I watched some videos on their site, they actually show the process of melting down cans and stuff. Pretty cool.

L Laura V. 2 months ago
Yeah, pretty sure they're all about that. Plus, they're made in Georgia, so that tracks with being eco-friendly and local.

how long does shipping usually take? need a board for a trip in a couple weeks, trying to figure out if it'll get here in time to California.

R Rachel Vargas 1 month ago
mine got to Florida in about a week for a complete board, so CA might be similar, give or take a few days. They ship out of Georgia.

A Andre C. 1 month ago
I think for a complete it's generally pretty quick, like 5-7 business days usually. If you just get a deck it might be faster but not sure.
